Often seen in spy shots plying on Indian roads before it’s Indian lunch, yes finally Hyundai Motor has unveiled the facelift variant of the most anticipated midsized SUV in the Indian market, and indeed a lot has changed inside as well as outside and under the hood of the car along with a range of safety features.
Exterior
The talking point of the car is the refreshed design with a block theme, a new connected DRL that runs along the length of the bonnet with embedded sequential turn indicators.
Outgone is the trapezoidal front grill seen in the previous version now it’s been replaced by a rectangular blacked-out grille with large air intakes. The headlamps are square and have no separate fog lamps but now they are integrated with the LED headlamps itself. The skid plate-inspired grille design is large enough to give Creta a rugged look.
The side profile remains the same with large wheel arches that fits in 17-inch rims, and a sloping roof line with a sliver accent embedded in the C pillar. The rear of the car is also redesigned with connoted LED tail lamps and small sequential turn indicators and a new bumper with metal accents.
InteriorA new 2024 Creta gets an updated cabin where with 2 digital 10.25-inch screens for the instrument cluster and an infotainment system grab the maximum attention. Thankfully Hyundai India has kept its calm by not going for a fancy touch plane for A/C control like that TATA Harrier (which takes driver attention from the road while adjusting the cabin temperature during the drive) and stuck to the old-school buttons.
The interior design looks up market with copper color toughs in the dashboard, seat piping, and steering wheel.
